If you are working with a therapist, but feel the need to expand ability of mindfulness; increase awareness of emotions, energy, or sensations; focus on a specific trait of Neurodivergence, this therapy could be used to supplement your current work. Take for instance, time management as part of ADHD. I would work with you to increase awareness and explore your emboided relationship with time. We all sense time, as it is a made up construct. However, I find Neurodivergent people have underdeveloped connection with the time. They slip in and out of connection with time, which can result in dysregulation. And traditional efforts to improve the executive function trait of time managment are just one approach. We work to develop sensational connection to time and develop efforts that support a non-strenuous relationship to time. See this related Substack article!
Other areas could include explore the barriers and paths to boundary setting; a recent trauma such as a car accident, a fall, a break up, etc; exploring career change which you have thought to exhaustion, but still do not have a clear path forward; life transition such as having kids, empty nest, or new concerns about life and death. As long as their is a goal to explore not through talking and thinking and rather through your physical experiences, we can work together!
